Murder suspect DeCarlos Brown Jr. has told his family that he stabbed Ukrainian refugee Irina Zarutskaya to death on a train in Charlotte, North Carolina, because “she could read his mind.”
The suspect told his sister, Tracy Brown, who visited DeCarlos in prison.
According to the sister, DeCarlos is a paranoid schizophrenic, and his brother claims that the government implanted a chip in him to monitor his behavior.
Tracy also claims that his own brother attacked him in 2022. He bit him during an argument and broke down the door to his house.
“I’m just trying to understand it. Why would he do this? He didn’t look like himself,” the accused’s sister said after watching the video.
The first comments from the accused in the murder were recorded in prison. According to the audio recording, Brown tells his sister that “something in his body” made him kill Irina.
The brutal incident took place in the United States on August 28. Ukrainian Irina Zarutska, who was boarding a train, was attacked by an unknown man sitting behind her. The video, recorded by a surveillance camera, shows him suddenly pulling out a sharp object and stabbing 23-year-old Irina three times in the throat and chest.
The Ukrainian refugee died.
Donald Trump ordered the execution of the perpetrator.
